- The party must be in a public space. We will under no terms agree to send a dancer to a private residence or hotel room.
- The client on behalf of all of his guests agrees upon a strict no-touch policy.
- The client on behalf of his guests agrees that the dancer will be treated with decency and respect.
- There will be a $50 chaperone fee attached to the quoted performance rate. This fee is non-negotiable. The dancer must and will be accompanied by a chaperone.
- If the dancer feels unsafe for any reason - particularly where alcohol consumption is too high and behaviour becomes unsavoury - she reserves the right to leave and the deposit will be forfeited.

Om Laila Bellydance has decided to implement a controversial new policy concerning bachelor parties. Contrary to the industry standard, we believe that there actually are groups of men out there who can and will act with respect and decency towards a bellydancer and appreciate her as an artist and a highly skilled performer. We are therefore accepting requests to have our dancers appear at bachelor parties providing the following requirements are met unconditionally:
We aim to provide professional dance services to all celebratory events and want to give all-male groups the opportunity to experience the feminine beauty of bellydance. Please prove us right in our contention that men can behave themselves!
PRIVATE EVENT STANDARD BOOKING RATES

- How long is a typical performance?
Performances usually last anywhere from 10-30 minutes. Depending on the event and audience. Our experience has shown us that under most circumstances, a 15-20 minute show is the best length for your guests to appreciate.
- Will the dancer need a space to change in?
The dancer requires a place to change, preferably not the public washroom as her performance is most effective if not seen in costume prior to the show. A private room also affords the dancer a place to safely store her belongings while she performs. - Will the bellydancer bring her own music and sound system?
The dancer will bring her own CD and/or MP3 player with the music for her show. The client is responsible for providing a quality sound system to play the music. A boom box is not sufficient.
- How large a space does the dancer require to perform in?
Ideally, a 10x10 ft. minimum flat performance area that is, of course, clear from hazardous items such as glass, wetness, tables/chairs etc. For outdoor events, please provide the dancer with a non-grass area to perform in, and inform us in advance so that she can arrive with the proper foot attire.
- Can we hire a dancer to be a surprise for a wedding?
Our dancers only perform at weddings with the prior consent (and happy anticipation) of the bride and groom. We will gladly be a surprise in another context, but not at someone's wedding.
