Peotry, Song, Humour and, above all, Dance co-mingle in this evening of authentic and unexpected delights.
There is a truly magical energy in the Om Laila community.
Come catch a little fairy dust.
Featuring performances by Roula, the fabulous Om Laila Troupe, gorgeous new class choreographies, and a taste of the Om Laila system.
Soloists: Elana, Bronwyn, Victoria, Sandy, Jenya, Caliana, Nicole, Jaene and Anuka.
There is a full cash bar. If you want to grab a bite beforehand, there's great food nearby (Empire Falafel on Bloor west of Dovercourt...among others).
The night will wrap up with a FunkaBelly-style dance party with global grooves that will free your ass for sure - maybe even your mom's !! Roula will lead an inspirational mini-class to get it all going.

Bridge to Palestine
An evening of music, dance, poetry and song. Roula will be performing as part of the fabulous Mraya musical group. The stellar lineup also includes the Al Lala Dance Group, the MOSAIC Arabic Folklore Ensemble, spoken word by Samah Sabawi and more. This event is a fundraiser for Project Hope, a group that provides Palestinian children and youth with opportunities for peace and education.Date: Sunday February 22, 2009
